View Full Version : which exhaust system???
I just recenntly went to a muffler shop around here asking about some good exhaust systems... and he gave me a booklet with nothing but magna flow mufflers. I asked him if they were good... and he said that they were the best. I was just wondering if this was true... and if its not... well then can you all tell me the best exhaust system out there for a cougar? thanks

Depends on your needs? Do you want: stainless steel or aluminized steel? Loud or quiet? Dual or single? Mustangish or Import V6ish (300z, 3000gt, etc)? All of them are factors to consider. Post what it is you're looking for, and we'll be glad to help. :)

i dont want to spend a lot of money on an exhaust. i would want a dual setup and sound like a stang i dont really want to get it for performance just looks and sound. anything possible under 300
well... i think that i was looking for more of an import sounds... a nice deep sounding one... which are the best for a sound like that? also... just out of curiousity... what it the best for a gt-ish sound? thanks.
Go with YoDude, and pick a muffler; Dynomax is low and rumbly (I have and is plenty loud IMO), or Flowmaster- From what I hear its balls to the wall loud. I think the magnaflow is in between, but don't quote me on that one. A quick E-mail to YoDude should answer any questions- and great customer service.
