I just got my new cat (yeaaaaa) and am installing my audio. I have a Pioneer DEH-P9300 and ordered a install kit from crutchfield. Well needless to say the thing broke and over all would not fit in withought jerry riggin it. Does anyone know where I can order a kit that will properly fit the 2002 cougars? Thank you.

you can get the metra kit from best buy . like 15.00 bucks

which kit did they send you? Did it mount the head unit in the middle with plastic on top and bottom or does it have an opening on the top and bottom? I had the first one for a while, but I got a hold of a dash kit for a Ford Focus, played around with it a little and it worked fine. Did that make any sense? Oh well, hope i've helped at all.....PEACE!

I got the kit with the plastic on both sides and screw holes but they dont seem to go anywhere and I had to break them off to get the thing to even fit. It is loose and wont stay in very well so I need something soon.
send it back to crutchfield, get your money back, and go to best buy or circuit city or any local audio shop... they're gonna sell you the metra kit... has the pocket on the bottom... best fitting kit i've ever seen! definately good for the money!
