caelin----are there any courts in or near your house? we could all meet at caelin's, then whoever wants to play ball can go there and those that don't can stay at caelin's. i'm not sure what caelin wants to do.

To me, it doesnt really matter what we do, as long as I dont have to drive like an hour from college park, where I will be staying. I'm open to any suggestions, so you guys and girls decide what we're doing and I'll show up and chill with all of you.

After talking to Marianne, i was informed that Caelin's place is like a half hour from me, so thats fine. The drive there is cool with me....about what we are doing before....I have no clue, just tell me where to go, and I'll be on my way and hoping I dont get lost. If there is anyone in the College park area that I can follow that day, that would be even better. Thanks

my cell is 443-528-3605. I haven't heard back from Caelin. Last I read/heard was that he was going to be checking with a friend than will get back with us. That he didn't think the 6th was to soon and should be ok. I'll call him on Thursday, but I don't want to make a pest of myself. If you all think it would be ok to call him sooner let me know...or if anyone else wants to call him, he did give his number for the cell phone list so guess any of us could call him.

I'll have the cell lists to everyone asap. I just have one favor. I deleted all my pm's by accident and a few of you just pm'd me your numbers over the last couple of days. If you all give pm your numbers one more time that would be great.

Ok I am back, i talked with Kaby, he said that to set up the hawaiian tropic party like we wanted to do, would take more time than what we had. So I was thinking that we could set it for for next month that way Kaby and i would have more time to get everything in order.

May is the Six Flags meet and Rusty's hosting an Ocean City meet...and Andy wants to do a BBQ meet that month. I'm putting together an events calendar and have already written down who wants to host what and he picked what dates/months first. I'll post it when it's done and then you all can free for all or negotiate who wants to host what and when :biggrin: :biggrin: I think it's really cool that we have so many members eager to host a meet and even cooler that we have so many members who enjoy getting together more than once a month :biggrin:

Everyone: How about we do this, someone in the college park area or who know's college park, pick a place that has a basketball court in a good location with enough parking spaces and near bathrooms if possible. We'll all meet up there. Once we see who all is there we can get a feel for what everyone wants to do. If someone lives near by and wants to host a house party that night, we'll all pitch in for beer & etc..., if not than we can see what's around: club dancing, bowling, etc... and then go from there.

There are 2 courts next to the not so new anymore rec center and dorms. They aren't in the greatest shape, but they're there. And Silver Spring has lots of courts also. And no party at my place, not enough room to have anything good, plus the street I live on wouldn't hold all the cars, when I get a bigger house, I'll make sure to invite everyone. :)

behind the volunteer fire dept on New Hampshire are two courts and good parking, if there's no softball games. I'd think some of the schools further down New Hampshire would have some courts also. There are some courts in CP behind the fire department on RT 1 also, before you get to Paint Branch Rd, I've never played there, so I don't know the condition. :shrug:

I hate to bring up Jillian's again, but everyone discussed bowling before when Marianne was first discussing this idea and they have bowling there? Plus plenty of other diversions for us non-bowling crew. :)

I was supposed to go to NorthEast's meet.. had been planning on it for about 2 months.. my car is in the body shop and won't be out by Friday.. like I needed it to be since I was going to leave EARLY saturday..
