Dropped in my SVT stuff yesterday.

CEL. DTC says its a 9318 but you would think it would have something to do with A/F rather than voltage.

19lb injectors work great when I'm on the gas. Most times it idles good but other times it's rough. (Sort of like when Dave cracked open his secondaries - which might actually be my problem as well since I didn't adjust the stock SVT position) No calibrated MAF at this point - I might have to get one if problems persist. I'm hoping that my drive back to Michigan will allow the computer to properly learn everything and clear up a lot of the A/F issues. The injectors are the green ones returnless ones modified to fit a return harness. They don't fit or lock in perfectly so if you pull up on the injector harness you will get a misfire but other than that I haven't had any problems yet with the harness moving around.

SVT throttle body mounts kind of crooked but other than a bit of awkward rubbing at the cable I'm not worried. The stock accordian tube fits no problem but you have to stretch and force it on.

My biggest fear... I lost one of my throttle body bolts while trying to mount the bracket and I haven't been able to find it. It would be really bad luck if it happened, but my PCV valve was not plugged in yet and it could have dropped in there. AAARRRRGHGHGHG!!! I went fishing with a magnet and wasn't able to turn up anything. Did my best to try to find it so I guess if it happens it happens... :( So far no problems so I guess I'll just say a prayer before pulling onto the highway and not worry about things I can't control.

Other than that the stuff works great! :) Real happy with the way it works when I'm on the gas. I think I gained a lot more power than others typically would have because of the way things are set up on my car.

Ahhhh another return system in our group. Still have to do my swap. Let me know how the #19 work cause I might just stick with my #17. Gotta buy some new gaskets and it'll be on next week hopefully.

Steve: was the 9318 pre-existing? My car constantly says 9318 and I never get a CEL. find the AutoTap and dig deeper. My guess the undervolt isn't what's throwing your CEL.

You guys are much more gusy than I'll ever be. I panic when I change my fuel filter. Fear of engines is a horrible curse.

The prayer worked! I made it :)

Car runs great as long as I'm not idling. Even then, the idle is a heckuva lot better than before. I guess the long drive helped to calibrate the PCM. If I let the car idle for >5minutes I think it looses calibration and starts to sputter.

I've always gotten an itermitent CEL (ever since the illegal stuff) and it is a pre-existing 9318. I'm hoping things will clear up in a couple of days. I'll keep everyone posted on what I find out. Lately, my battery light has been flashing on and off under high RPMs. Guess my alternator needs to be replaced as well. Might fix the undervolt condition.

Incidentally, my MPG jumped from 25.4 upto 31.5 on my way home. Granted, I just picked up a $200 speeding ticket the other day, but other than that I was going at a normal speed for most of the trip. I'm wondering if the PCM is calculating my fuel usage based on 16lb injectors still, which is causing a faulty reading.

BTW, remember how I always felt that my car had 'issues'. Well, my car pulls like crazy now - all the way upto the redline! It's not scary fast like a turbo or 3L yet, but I do hang onto the steering wheel a little bit tighter now whenever I gun it.

I get the same feeling :)

Once you get a MAF in there you'll be amazed. Right now I only need the UIM (yes I know it's like the most important part) and an A/F computer (either Apexi or Greddy) Then I'll be pretty well done all the bolt ons.
