Underbody Neon Help!

Today, my Dad and I started to work on the underbody neons, and wern't having much luck. He was not feeling comfortable drilling and what not into my car without knowing more information. Basically he has no clue on what he's doing. If anyone could help me out or if we could get together to put these things on that would be great. Im on spring break this week so sometime soon would be great!

Hey Chris, Jay (Pikachu) is our resident expert on UB Neons... and last I heard, he doesn't have internet access. Can someone give Jay a call and let him know? But if you want, also, Scott (RythymDJs) from WI also knows a bit about Neons... you might be able to PM him...

i think, and this is a BIG MAYBE!!!!! jay said he might be able to do it at the apt (this was last night he said that),but last time i thought he said that he was not allowed to work on cars in the parking lot ??? so i am not sure what he meant

and NO pika party!!! LOL before anyone says anything :goofy: we already have plans saturday night, so everyone would have to go home!!!! LOL :biggrin:

Yeah so i finally figured out how to do it and have been so busy with work i have not had a chance to get on and check my post. I sat down and did it, it took me about 3 hours but i got them all rigged up. They look really nice and blue.

Anyways a funny thing happened today, i was showin my buddy my new lights and i went crusin by the steak and shake out here in elgin. A whole bunch of gen 2 eclipses were parked in a target parking lot next to the steak and shake and were making lots of noice, revving engines, peeling out stuff like that, anyways a cop rolls by me and me neon blue catches his eye. me and my buddy were outside my car talking to some chicks, and the cop pulls up by my car and starts looking at it. I was about to walk over an go say something to him but then the gen 2's did all the work for me. They were peelin out and revin up like youy wouldnt believe so the cop peaced out of the steak and shake to go talk to them and i peaced out of the stek and shake turing my neons off.

I am wondering how much trouble these blue neons are going to cause me and if i will need to change the color. anyone in illinois with blue neons that ccan give me advice that would be great. Sorry guys, i had to vent...

first- can not work on the neons at jay's place, they will not let him work on cars in the parking lot, so i don't know where you guys want to meet?? cause you still need help with your neons right reagan???

and chris as long as you are parked and not moving, i don't think the cop can do anything. if you were driving around with them on in the parking lot maybe he could give you a ticket, but i don't think so.

If its just me, then I guess we can do it at my apt's lot. My Apts have a rule against car work in the lot too, but I haven't had an eviction threatened against me yet, like Jay, either. Plus, I also have my garage, its a little small... but we might be able to do it in there. Jenny, I lost your cell number, would you pm it to me please so I can call tomorrow if need be? I have Jay's home number.
