I'm sick of 2 litre bottles and other things rolling around. Preferably from Ford.
My NECO stickers should be in the mail!
Springs around the corner, how about a waxing and detailing get together?

Yes they sell a cargo net for the Cougar. I'm going to try to use one from my Dad's wrecked Lesabre (modify
it if needed). Ford Parts Mall sells them in their accesories catalog: Ford Parts Mall Website (http://www.fordpartsmall.com/)
I know what you meen. When my wife and I go shopping the grocery bags need to be tied with the handles
just to keep the groceries from tumbling around the trunk, instead the bags just slide around.
I'm up for a cleaning day for our cars. Let me know, at the very least we could get Sled and some other local
members to come and we just make it into an assembly line. I have an orbital buffer we could use (everyone
would just need to buy some extra pads since I only have a couple).

Yep! They have a cargo net for the Cougar. I bought mine over the Web from Acton L-M, but you could get it from any dealer. It was one of the best $37 (I think, it's been awhile) I spent on the car.
It's an "envelope style", that is it goes across the rear of the hatch area, and the top is open like an envelope.
Install consists of making two small X-shaped cutouts in the carpet covering on the rear, kinda right in front of the tail lights (sorry, at work, Cougar at home, so going from memory). Behind the slits you cut are two threaded bolts, and just poke them through the slits and twist on the cargo net hooks. Then the net's corners go around those two hooks.
It's great for those stupid plastic shopping bags!

Meguire's Clay Magic works great too! I've used it a couple times now and the car is as smooth as glass with a lot less effort!
Cat88, Thanks for the link I just ordered it today, That should fix the problem.

No Problem, as fyi the link is on our website too on the Web Links page. I've put some of the best links I've
found for Cougar parts on there. I'll be adding Fast Track Performance today (check my post in the Suspension
or Vid/Pics section to see what I got from them). Let me know about the Detail Day.
Sweet! My car's looking a little rough around the edges. OSUStallion will be back in town sometime next week too:biggrin: I smell mini-meet super cleaner style.
