I want to change the orange headlight bulb(very outside light) and change the color to blue. It is the turn signal. I think that it would look awesome but am I going to get busted for it?

Depends on how anal the cops in your town are. Some people here have had blue lights (neons, side markers, etc.) on their cars for a long while with no problems, while others seem to get nailed for the most rediculous of violations. As a general rule of thumb, though, blue lights are not legal on non-police vehicles. Plan on getting hassled by somebody. If you're lucky, they may just give you a warning and tell you to take 'em out - if you're not lucky, you'll get a ticket.

Good luck!

Basically it vary's on where you live, a general rule to follow - Only Orange/Amber or White bulbs on the front and, red and white and amber on the rear. Although myself i have blue bulbs everywhere.....

There was a different thread discussed not that long ago about the blue side-markers, and you can be ticketed for those, and defiantly for blue bulbs in the front. I was a police intern about a year ago and yes, people were pulled over and ticketed for blue bulbs in the front as well as side. I personally think the blue bulbs look tough as nails, but buyer beware, there could be a price to pay. I'm not sure how much the ticket is for, but any ticket sucks! Basically, my two cents is if you want to do it, go for it. But don't say you wern't warned. By the by, as a budding police officer, any NECO member gets a free get out of ticket free card. For most things that is.

i had blue turn signals in my last car and i got pulled over twice so i finally took them out and they took away the tickets, with my promise to never put them back in, so u can do it as u wish jsut dont use your signals unless u have too, funny u have to break the law to not break that law :cool:
