I just went to Dobbs today and asked them if I was going to have trouble having my car pass inspection because of the 5% tint on my back 3 windows and the 5% on the sides.

They told me they recieved a letter from the State of Missouri last Friday which states: " The State of Missouri and the Missouri Highway Patrol no longer have restrictions on tinted windows at this time, a car or truck will not fail inspection because of tint of any kind on the windows"."

Meaning this:

Those who do inspections MUST PASS EVERY CAR WITH TINT, AS THERE ARE NO RESTRICTIONS AS TO SHADE, COLOR, DARKNESS, ETC............

Can you believe this? Not sure how long this wil last ,apparently they had several thousand complaints throught out Missouri, and this was the quick cure for the problem. but if you need an inspection in the near future , do not hesitate because as of now, every car will pass. Mirrored tint, colored tint, black limo tint, everything...

:):biggrin::):biggrin::):(:):biggrin:

so does this mean to go get a darker tint on the driver's side. That way it should be grandfathered into the next law. right? If they are so scared to have tint on the windows, why don't they do the same thing with the guns. Run a check on the person to see if they have any problems. If so, they don't get it.

Yeh, I guess right now they dont care. I have seen cars lately with the mirrored tint all the way around and windows that are completely black. I guess they can get away with it. All I know is I am getting my inspection this weekend, and my plates renewed for 2 years, so I wont have to mess with this **** again for at least 2 years...YEH...........

I hope they don't make a new law by september. That's when mine is due.
