Hey all...I would like your opinions...
I have been putting together my sytem, and ran into a little snag (or two! hehe!) I ordered my componenets from Soundhabit.com, and got the complete run-around from them, so I cancelled my order with them, and decided to order with carstereo.com. I originally wanted the PPI 5440 5-channel amp, but was told that it was out of stock, and they might not be able to get any more, so they told me that the Apline MRV-F357 (another 5-channel) was comparable, and pretty close in price. By reading the specs, the Alpine is more powerful than the PPI, but I was just wondering what you all thought...Did I do okay by ordering the Alpine instead of the PPI?
BTW...I'll be using the amp to run a pair of MB Quart 6.5" coaxials in the doors, a pair of Pioneer 5x7 2-ways in the rear, and a Pioneer Premiere 12" spun aluminum dual-voicecoil sub. I also have the Alpine CDW-550 "swing face" double DIN head unit which has 4x40 watts of power on its own...Think it'll sound good?
Thanks for your opinions,
Charles
