Okay, here is where we're going to post information about the Mirko Racing meet happening on Sunday, April 21st in Morgan Hill. NorCal NECO, SoCal NECO And NorCal CEG members are invited to this one. Mirko Racing does performance parts, tuning and racing of Mazda and Contour/Cougar. (Rich, correct me if I'm wrong.) at MirkoRacing.com (http://www.mirkoracing.com)
Mirko Racing is located in Morgan Hill, which is about 15 minutes south of San Jose (if you drive like I do.)

You may want to meet up and drive together from various locations..
Directions from 101: take the E. Dunne Ave exit and go WEST. Turn LEFT onto Church St. Then on your left is an Insurance company. The next driveway on the left is the entrance to a large garage complex.. #14 is Mirko Racing and you should see his large car trailer out front and most likely his Contour.
Directions from Monterey Road/Street: Take E. Dunne Ave EAST and turn RIGHT onto Church St. Everything else is the same as above..
Parking in the Garage area should not be a problem on the weekend - park either in front of the garage or around back of it.
There are a number of fast food places (McDonalds, Carls Jr, Burger King, Round Table, etc.) near by and I'll get more exact locations (maybe located on a map) before the meet. Also I can get the names of Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, Tai and other GOOD ethnic restraints if you'd like.. AND I believe the Trail Dust is open early on Sunday evening for the best BBQ ribs in the world!!

Looks like there's some interest from the CEG folks. There's a bit of smack talking about Mirko and his promise to release parts that never went through, but at least we'll have more people going. ;)

It's a meet, he happens to have some Cougar/Contour stuff (suspension related mostly, his MAF adapter won't fit on your I4 ;)).. maybe you can convince him to sell you his silver-painted 99/00 headlights and give your Euros to Dev.. ;) Also, some CEG folks are gonna be there. You can give him some product ideas, maybe see some stuff that's gonna be coming out.. help us convince him to make carbon fiber hoods or some kind of small splitter for the Cougar front end... etc, etc...
