Guys,

Anyone have any idea how much it would cost to powder coat a set of Roush springs? I'm going to pick up a set of these tomorrow - except I'd prefer to have them in red.

Also, would I have to strip (or sand) the existing blue or would it just go right over without any prep?

TIA

Give Chris a PM. I'm sure he could give you the number of the place he's getting his stuff powdercoated at.

BTW.. Where are you picking the springs up from. I'm kinda leaning toward getting some but I just don't know yet.

Thanks Chris. If it's not too expensive I think I'll go ahead and go with the powder coating. (I wonder how much it would be to chrome them :) )

I'm going to drop by Roush on Plymouth and Middlebelt to pick them up directly. The NECO sale is still on - $120/set +$7 tax (shipping included) I told them I would rather just pick up. Although I would prefer red, I guess I'll just console myself with how great a deal it is and be happy with a blue spring that can't really be seen anyway.

I was also thinking about picking up their sway bar as well. Not too sure about that though...

Just call them up at 1-800-59-ROUSH and ask for Russ. (You might have to leave a message on their answering machine)

There's no additional charge for shipping so if you aren't in a hurry to install them then your other option is to have them ship to your work. Anyways, I'll post up on how things turn out.

Picked up the springs yesterday. No problems. They have about 50 sets left.
I'll be waiting till spring to install them so it'll be a ways off before I see how they look and perform.

BTW, if you would like to pick up, Russ only asks that you give him a call first to make sure he is around.

Yuppers. Just call to let him know you're coming (and add another $0.20)
It's not really set up like a store so there is no parts counter like you would expect - it's actually more like an office with cubes and shirts and ties.

Also, shipping is still no charge so if you want it delivered it won't cost you anything extra.
