I got a couple of questions out there for the new cougar owners from 1999 to 2002. I have read all 5 pages on this thread and I think there is some interest in the turbo kit. We are designing a kit right now for a cougar before we go any further and start to build this kit. it would be ready in about a month or so if we go further with this project it depends on you cougar guys and how serious you guys are into performance. Because building a turbo kit is very costly endevor the tooling costs exceed $20,000 to $30,000 to develop each kit. I was wandering if any of you guys were interested in an stage 1 non intercooled turbo for just under $3,000 for all you mild performance guys and a stage 2 intercolled kit for just under $4,000 for all you guys into some unbeliveable performance the stage 3,4,5 would be very shortly down the line but what all those stages are mostly is internal mods only like turbo pistons, turbo cams, and forged rods. now i wont go into all the peticulars in this e-mail but you can call me. The kit would have the garrett t3/t4 turbo, an external wastegate,, stainless steel turbo exhaust manifold and a couple of other perks you serious performance guys would like. We also make our kits so they can be installed in less than 9hrs for all the not so mechanically inclined for the experinced modder you should be able to install our kits in less than 7 and one more good thing about this kit is the fact that you dont have to drop the fuel tank to run the necessary fuel lines. Also one more thing if when you guys are saying atx do you mean atuomatic transmission because if that is the case then yes it would be compatiable we would have kits for both automatics and manuals. So If you are interested in this kit you can e-mail me at ptdreams01@aol.com or you can call my company in new jersey the call is toll free the number is 1-866-782-7896 if you want more information just give me a buzz. If you need installation shop we have five locations where you can have your turbo installed New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Virginia, and Florida
