Here are some pics from my interior i'mworking on. The pieces are not done yet I need to wetsand them as well as respray the black trim edges and painted sections of the bezel and headlight panel. My masking tape I had was leaving residue on the surface and caused imperfections so I decided to spray 3 coats of the clear and then I will wetsand it smooth with 1500 grit, respray the black, 2 more coats of clear and then wetsand with 3000 and buff with polishing compound. My dash bezel now looks as if it were made to accept the single DIN radio and has a nice pocket below with grooves to hold 2 cd jewel cases. My radio will never pop out again :)

I will also be doing the upper dash bubble, air bag cover, glove box, arm rest, and driver side crash pad. Every other piece of plastic in my car is getting painted the same gunmetal color as my wheels.

I also include pics of the new WRX grille inserts I am doing for another company.

AMAZING WORK sir! Seems like you have really perfected the carbon fiber! I have never seen such quality before! BTW...I still want you to carbon fiber my lower mirror housings and triangular fender inserts!

You know, lower mirror housings and the fender inserts for the mirror housings are the only thing that I would ever buy to put as carbon fiber on my car.. simply because I hate the look of the exterior plastic, and the carbon fiber would look better. Other than that, the quality of the dash is superb looking. :) Really quality looking. Almost like liquid poured over carbon fiber.

How much would you charge for something like this on my Cougar? I think it looks great, but wouldn't wanna pay a lot more than a normal dash kit

I'm sure it would cost a LOT more than a regular dash kit. Especially if you wanted everything covered that a dash kit covers. Craig that looks like it took you forever to do. I'm sure it was worth it though. Very nice work man!

The radio bezel alone had 50 hrs invested. there are actually 3 pieces of carbon there. one piece is seamless and covers the indent on the left and side near the steering wheel. the other section is seamed right under the lip for the heater controls. I also had the time invested to mold the dash kit in place so that was not a quick job ;)

I will be clearing your headlights after I get masking tape from the body shop. I masked your lights when I did this stuff and when it left the residue I just let the black border dry completely then pulled the tape off and cleaned it all with acetone. I'm gonna have them cleared and ready for the paint work for monday when I pick up doug's covers with the red pearl on them.

Looks like they replace the little pieces between the opening of the grill and the headlights

Craig, if you want to get started on my lower mirror housings, I will sent the money NOW! I need to stop by my dealer and find out how much the triangular fender inserts will cost me, and I will send a pair out to you! I don't know how long all the work will take you , but since you are driving down to my general area I would LOVE it if you could deliver the product in person! I have been impressed with your work on the Cougar for some time now, and would appreciate the opportunity to share ideas with you.

DUDE - AWESOME WORK!!!!!!

Very nicely done!!! (I like the part about your radio not sliding out. Mine does all the time - so I had to find a way to rig it so it dosent. I have just a normal head unit kit.)

I cant wait to see my covers ;)

hmmmmmm - what should I get next???
