I am so scared!

Someone just tried to break into my house!!!! The alarm was going off and everything. He came in through the backyard and pulled a screen off of a window on the back porch and then ran into the garage, I guess to see what he could find in there. So my mom and i called my dad and he came over with the cop. The cop was filling out the report and everything and then I started to get REALLY worried about my car!! So I asked my dad to come outside with me to check my car and then he told me that the cop did that first :) That made me happy. After the cop left, I made my mom stand at the door and watch me go outside because I had to know for myself that my car was ok. I am still a little scared to go back to sleep so that's why i'm doing this now. Ok, now the scary part. I NEVER hear the alarm when it goes off! I think I just sleep that damn deep! My mom ALWAYS has to come wake me up to go downstairs with her! I betcha that even though I can't hear the house alarm go off, I would hear my car alarm go off if it was a mile away!! I am going to try to go back to sleep now. I just had to let someone know that i'm scared and I don't want the person to come back!

Edit: We found out this morning that after the person left my house, he went to another house and the house he went to was owned by the Broker-In-Charge of another real estate company in Florence so they are trying to link them together.

i'm glad everythings ok chick. that has to be scary. i would have freaked out and ran after them with a bat, yelling something crazy. i probably would have had fun, lol. but, i would have been worried about the cougar and checked it first. then i would have chased him;)

I was walkin out to my car for lunch today and this guy I work with was parked right in front of me and there was glass everywhere. I got to work at 9am, and this was at 1...so sometime during broad daylight someone busted out his drivers window, he has a nice system and tons of cd's...but the only thing they took was his wallet which was shoved inside a shoe under a pair of jeans. Of course he works the same place as me so he didn't have any money, but he did have a spare key to his car in there. That freaked me out cause my car was parked right there, and I always leave everything in the car cause its a huge shopping center....people are brave:mad:

Yes, people are VERY brave! What's the point in doing all of this stuff? I mean, I wonder how they would feel if someone tried to break into their house? Or if someone broke into their car? Why do they target us? For the past few days, Marilyn, My bookkeeper, says that she has had this feeling of someone watching her and watching my office. Which makes perfect sense because after they left my house they went to the B-I-C of Coldwell Banker! Do they think that the B-I-C's actually have money?! Or something inside their house?! I won't even go home by myself now, Chas has been following me home or my mom has been waiting up for me. This world is just getting so scary. Maybe I have just been nieve (sp?) and i'm *growing up* but I don't like it at all. Maybe one day i'll stop feeling scared.
