What size decal would you like? [Archive]

Alright: I'm getting quotes for the decal (both 30 white decals and 30 multi-color ones) but I think we should all settle on a size.

Should we go for one that covers the whole back windshield (3ft by 3ft), one that fits in the small passenger side window (1ft by 1ft) or a really small one for anywhere (5" x 5")

Throw out some sizes. I might be able to get custom sizes as well, although I think at least a standard size for the club logo would be better.

yeah just go with the small size (5" X 5")... if someone here really wants a bigger logo then it would be a custom 1 time job and that person would have to pay for it (although vinyl is relatively cheap)

im thinkin id like the 1ft x 1ft in XR red....if u can make that kinda color request...otherwise just red.

edit: you think one on each quarter window would be....stupid lookin?? im tryin for a semetrical look. maybe ill just do the huge one in the back...:confused:

The dancing squirrel/spam attack (http://www.iconsofindustry.org/strife/) had no effect. I also tried edecals which I've come to learn is owned by superiorgs.com. (as is about 5 other graphic sites). I'll check again monday. If anyone knows of another good website post it and I'll email them with the PSD. At this point I just want a company that responds regardless of price.

How about we try local shops? The guys at Gibralter do vinyl pretty cheap. Just go to any sign shop in the area. Theres one on plymouth rd between merriman and middlebelt. Really nice guys in there. Maybe we should give some mom and pop shops a try?

i agree with river, then if we need more done we chould just leave the a copy of the file with them and anyone of us could go in a get it in whatever size and color we want

Well here's my first quote, what do you guys think:

Thanks for your interest in our products. The minimum order would be 75 and they'd be $3.16 each. They'd all have to be the same size/color/imprint, etc. There would be no setup charge if the art is camera ready, so the only additional cost would be shipping.

I can front the 236 but we'd have to decide on a color. For now I'm going to hold out and see if I get another one.

75 minimum order is kinda steep... if we have the eps just about any vinyl shop should do it, frankly no use in trying to setup a group buy for these things if it's only going to save like 1-2$ per decal
