Hey guys, I just recently got a 2000 Cougar and I'm new to NECO. I want to hook up my COugar with a Euro look. I already have a JSP Terminator spoiler but I'm looking to add more. The next thing I'm looking for are those tight-ass looking covered taillights..where can I get them? On a another note, I live in MIami where there aren't many Cougar enthusiasts like myself. I really don't like those Honda and Acura rice-rockets much. So I was hoping to see if anyone lived around my area so I can actually see a real hooked-up Cougar in person. PLEASE HELP ME!

As far as parts, check out the Custom Cougars website, but also, stroll around the message board, especially Vids/Pics and Cosmetics, to get an idea of what everyone else has done to their Cougars. Might give you an idea for yours.

Almost every single person on these boards is reliable to sell you something used at a good price and not try to screw you over.

welcome to fl-neco. if you are looking for anything to modify your cougar then the place is www.customcougars.com the guy who runs it name is james and he has good prices and he is extremely reliable. i have bought many things from him and i have never had a problem. he sells almost anything you can think of with the exception of rims and tires. good luck modifying your car and beware because its addictive :)

Tail light covers are available from SummitRacing.com (http://www.summitracing.com). The part number is VTE-22225 and they will end up costing about $45 with shipping and handling. They come unpainted so once you get them just bring them to any body shop, they should paint them for about $30 - $50.

I have a White 2000 Cougar V-6....I went to a body shop and bought the paint and did my lights myself....I do have some experience and a paint gun and compressor but i's really not that hard to paint your existing lights....If you know someone who has a paint gun the matching paint will only cost you about $45 for a quart....Doesn't sound like alot but I did both my tail lights and all four of my wheel, inside and out with a little more then half a quart....I have the exact paint you need, if you'r ever up near the Orlando area, Im not too far....I would be glad to do them or you for next to nothing....Hope to see you at Cougar Bash!!!!!
