Do the momo shift knobs fit? Is the reverse lock a problem? Is it hard to change the ebrake handle? let me know thanks.

i know you can get aftermarket shifters with the reverse lock out on them. i don't remember the website. also, some members have modified shifters not to need the reverse lock out. here's what i found about the ebrake installation
e-brake (http://www.fastcougar.com/forums/messageview.cfm?catid=11&threadid=24122&highlight_key=y&keyword1=momo)

hope this helps!

From what I have read on here, I am pretty sure they do. When making your own short shifter, you need one. There is prolly more than just momo that will work, but I think it has been used.

Is removing the reverse lock hard to do? Is there a how to on doing it?

Momo does make a "lock out" knob, two color formats from what I have seen. And Momo is the only one that makes one as far as I have found.

As for removing the lock out....easy. Unscrew your knob (your shift knob silly...now zip your pants back up and go out to your car). Now pop off the shift boot and you will see a two peice plastic, hollow, shaft cover. It bends in the middle. Now, pop off the bottom half of the shaft cover and you now don't have the lock out.

The other way to do it would be to unscrew the bottom right screw from the shifter retainer. Remove the raised up lock out stopper, and screw the bolt back in. You might need to get a shorter bolt because it might still stick up too high.
