Just wondering, i know its probably been posted quite a few times elsewhere but i see it nowhere, besides for Stoffler is there any header that will fit the I4 Cougar, i know the Focus one wont work as we just put one in my friends focus. I'm putting money aside to get headers but have found noone makes them, someone told me the ZX2 Escort headers might fit, but anyone tried this out yet?

Read the article about exhaust systems in the October issue of Sport Compact Car. Gutting your cats is not a good idea. According to SCC this will cause flow stagnation and a decrease in exhaust gas velocity. Esslinger makes a good header with a high flow cat already installed; however, it runs about $450.

when i took my car to the shop to ask the guy if he could help me gut the cats he cleverly pointed out the i dont have pre cats!!

Don't quote me on this, but I believe that Terry Haines has a header in the works. Its 4-1 and thats about all I know. I read it over on the CEG forum. Don't know when it is supposed to be available or anything like that.

None of the Zetec cars have a pre cat. They all have just the one cat.
