Hey - this is a question about the legallity of turn signal lamps in Ohio. I'd rather post a message on the board then call the police and hear them moan and groan at me for asking.

I was thinking of switching to the australlian Headlights... And you know how it has those clear turn signals? Well... Is it legal to change the bulbs in the turn signals to blue? Wait... Are those Australian Headlights even legal here?

Thanks,
Bryan

As long as you still use the amber bulbs it is still legal. Blue/Red lights are very illegal and you will get caught
and given a ticket eventually (just depends on the the cops you come across and where they stand for their
months ticket quota).

Actually man, I've never had any problems yet in Ohio... I had an Alero before this car, and I had every single light in the car blue/white... Had 10% window tint, no front license plate, and never got pulled over for a thing other than speeding... :)

It's only illegal if you get caught;)

LOL. well come May, I'm probably going to be a basketcase of little illegal intricacies like that: no front liscense plate, illegal tints, taillight covers, maybe the blue turn signals, blue side-marker bulbs, and im thinking about blue neon underbody lights... depends on how illegal the neons r tho

well i have blue led's for side markers and front turn signals. I've gotten stopped by 3 different police departments warning me about the color of my lights. i live in cincinnati though.
