I found a chip in my paint! I know its imperceptible but its still there. Damn it, damn it, damn it. It doesn't look like a rock chip because its perfectly round and pretty high up on the side too. Damn it, Damn it, Damn it! (If you haven't figured it out I'm just posting to b*tch and complain, no other reason really) Sigh, oh well. I'm over it, and lets look at the bright side, at least there is something new to read in the board today. :-)

I figured it out, I'm going to weld some brackets to the underside of my coug and buy a huge plastic box and bolt it on around my car. Sure it will look like I'm driving a packaged diecast model, but at least I won't ever have to wash it again!

Lee,
I've got a number of chips in the paint on my hood and man does it suck....but some of us already know that it's from driving to close to the vehicle in front of me.
Good luck with the plastic box. ;-)

oh, does anyone know where i can get a custom hood....here is what i'm looking for:
it's basically got to be able to cover an Upper Intake Manifold that stands a little higher than the ones we have right now.
in case you are wondering, i'm considering a 3.0L engine swap for this spring. could be quite the project and i'm hoping to be able to help out with the install versus having a shop do it.

I guess I'm in for a few more chips then, I tend to ride asses of people in the fast lane who match speed with the person in the right lane. CarolinaZN said she recieved free touch up paint with her car, did anyone else get that? If so I think I got left out.
