It better not rain on the 12th. But just in case, an umbrella and a coat may not be a bad idea. Umbrellas really do work, just try it Crystal. lol

Well if I could talk my mom into giving me my Digital Camera early then I could post a pic for ya, but I can't so here goes.....

On the 1999 and I think the 2000 model Cougars (When you get one with stock foglights that is) the foglights have a clear cover, much like the headlights only not bubbly. Now in the "How-To" for the headlights it says to take the cover off, then blah blah blah etc. . . So I assumed it would work the same way for the foglights as well. But I can't get the two black pieces apart. And it really urks me. By the way here is the link for painting your headlights, just incase it might give anyone an idea I haven't already tried, for the foglights that is. Headlight Painting Link (http://www.said7.com/cougar/mods/) You have to just try to make a comparison between the two (foglight and headlight).

Once again this is for the 1999-2000 models only (I think); the 2001+ models have a different front end and different style foglights, I believe they look chromish like the headlights.

Thanks in advance again for the info given.

Crystal -
Here is a How-To on how to operate an umbrella!!!!
1) Retrieve your favorite umbrella, the bigger the better.(Bigger umbrella's keep the rain away better)
2) Unsnap or unvelcro the little safety strap. (Be careful cause the umbrella can open up and bite you) LOL
3) Reach inside the umbrella and push up on the center piece. (The umbrella will slowly start to open)
4) The center piece will lock in at the top once you push it up far enough.
5) Place the umbrella over your head, but not too high as the rain will then hit you. Keep it as low as possible!!
6) This is where it gets tricky, if the rain is coming from one side more then straight down, then position the umbrella to that side. (If you do this part backwards then you get wet!!)
7) Do what you have to outside and then go back in where it is dry.
BTW: Make sure not to open the umbrella until you are outside, it is back luck otherwise. LOL
Good luck with the rain and try to stay dry.

Crystal, you don't know what a good rainy day your having compared to one I went through in college.

I used to Only have a mortorcycle and riding in the fall time it started raining, scared the living beegeebies out me of because it was the first time I rode in the rain. Talk about soaking wet, plus it was in the 50's and I was cold brrrr, just thinking about it. Had to stop by my friends school (all girls) took my close off and stuck in the dryer, sitting in the laundry room with my just boxers on.

Now that was a cold rainy day and no UNC, an unbrella wouldn't have worked.

Are you sure that an umbrella wouldn't have worked? I think that you could have tied it to the motorcycle or something. LOL I had the same thing happen to me about a week after I got my bike. I was taking it to get inspected and about 45 minutes from home it started to pour. Sucks doesn't it?
