New Head Unit w/ old cd changer?

I know that there are adapters available to use the factory reciever with an aftermarket cd changer but is ther an adapter or something to make so we can use the factory cd changer in the trunk with an aftermarket head unit?

There isn't an adapter to use a factory changer with aftermarket deck to my knowledge. But my knowledge is kind of limited, so I might be wrong:)
