Hey, I was wondering what I would have to do to put in an LCD screen that had a connection to a GPS unit. What would you guys recommend, and if anyone has done it, maybe you can explain to me how to do it.

Are you talking about the in-dash screens that flip out? If so, Pioneer and Alpine are both companies that I know make the GPS hookup for the in-dash DVD player. I believe Eclipse has a GPS add on for theirs too, but I'm not positive. Out of those three, I would definitely go with the Eclipse unit

For Pioneer and Alpine indash creen monitor, it will cost you about 700-1500 depend on model, but when i looking at the arm of the screen that extended out...it will not be fit in our car cause the arm is only about 2 inches and when it flip up it will hit the AC and heat controller. so i don't know what will be happen. if anyone have any info or have one install let us know.
thanks

i just installed the eclipse 7301,
it is a double-din screen, plays both a cd and tape and a gps attachment is offered
go to eclipse website (http://www.eclipse-web.com) to get more info.
personally i am very happy with it. i have my ps2 hooked up in the glove box to it. works great. i paid $1889.00 but that was also with the ps2 hook up and some custom switching done.
