Hey quick question here, I m running a 600 watt amp to 2 10 inch subs, and a neon under car kit, as well as 3 interior neons, all running off of my factory battery, I figure I should replace it with either a Optima or something comparable? I wanna get a better system soon such as 2 600 watt amps and 2 12s, so i think it may be wise???

The factory battery will work just fine for what you are doing. There is only one reason anyone should consider removing a factory battery and replacing it with a deep-cycle battery like an Optima, Westco SVR, Lightning, Stinger, etc: do you run your electrical accessories (stereo, neon lights, strobes, etc.) continuously while the engine is off to the point that your factory battery needs a jump in order to start the engine? Factory batteries are not deep-cycle batteries and can only stand to be fully cycled three or four times before they will be permanently damaged.

This is to everyone, not just Madcat....

Please don't spend money just to spend money and have <name some piece of equipment> just like everyone else. There is a good chance that what you have will work just fine if you check it out and make sure you are using it properly.

Peace,
Keane
