Neon Lights Install

I'm thinking about getting some exterior neon lights. I was wondering if there was a how to, or if someone could tell me the best places to install them.

It's really not too tough, and they come with decent instructions. When running the wires behind the suspension, just try to get all the wires behind the wheel well plastic. Hide it as much as possible. Also, get out your manual, and find the exact spots for the lifts points on the car. I didn't do this, and ended up putting my sides right over the rear lift points, and can't lift the car anymore. So now I have to move the tubes, not a big deal, but a pain regardless.

btw, I found it easier to attach the front and back with wire ties, instead of finding somewhere to drill a hole for the clips. Wire ties will hold it fine, and gives you more mounting options. Also, in the front, watch the oil filter, I had another brain fart, and mounted the front tube too far back the first time, and had to move it just to change the oil filter....duh

its too late now, i already put mine on, but where did you attach the ties to on the sides. I used heavy duty zip ties all around but on the sides i couldnt find anywhere to attach them so i drilled a few little holes into that seam that sticks down about and inch (imbetween the jack points). btw, the zip ties work awesome. you wouldnt think so, but they are reall strong and easier than anything to use.

No zip ties on the side, I tried too, but there's nothing there. So I used the clamps and drilled the holes for the sides. If you look at the tube, there are little spacers between the glass neon tube, and the outer lexan tube. There should be a clamp on each one of those, it even says, install here. But yeah, the zip ties work real well in the front and back.

Where did you guys attach the neons in the front and in the rear...i want to put mine on soon but i have no clue where to mount them.

The rear one mounts on the 5mph bumber.... and the front one mounts on the bottom of the splash shield

If you mount them there can other cars see the bulbs then...thats if i dont have a body kit on to cover them up?
