Is the 2.0 zetec from 99 a return fuel system? If so where is the fuel pressure regulator and what color is the the throttle position sensor? Time to Zex the Contour ;)

Craig tell me where to look and I will do so...Im a 99 zetecer....Craig is the tour exactly the same as our cougars...If so can you find me any throttle bodys that will fit my car or headers??? I and having a hella hard time to fint these parts...Thanks

I got the info from terry haines. I'm gonna install that kit this weekend I think. I'll post pics. I'll start reasearching the zetec b/c i'd like to do a tb, maf, and a header on it as well as a cat back exhaust.

Well I'm not positive but from what I've read and heard the zetec is a returnless fuel system. Hence why we can't buy adjustable fuel pressure regulators. Now there are other options, like the Apexi S-AFC or JET makes a air/fuel controller for the 2.0L too.

If you make an aluminized cat back for the contour zetec, you will make a ton of money... no one makes any.... no competition. The reason I say aluminized is the cost will be lower than stianless and some of us are more interested in performance than looks...
Better yet, make an exhaust that can be adapted for the tour, coug and zx2 and you will run the corner...

The zx2 community has quite a few ppl that make custom exhaust setups already. CTA Motorsports, Gude, Esslinger, HotShot and I think one or two more. I would rather just go to a muffler shop and get my done on the spot. I bought my muffler for $100 and had the 2 1/4" custom mandrel bent stainless piping bent and welded in for $150, so I spent $250 for an exhaust system, alot of the custom exhausts you buy from company's like above cost over $350-$500.
I suggest you cougar guys contact GUDE and talk to bill and see about getting some **** made. They make a head package for the zx2, Full headers, exhaust, turbo, Big bore Throttle bodies and couple other things all for the good ole zetec.
