I have four small neons to accent my trunk...two for my plexiglass amp rack and two for my boxes...I have 3jl w'6s and i have the rockford 800..I want to have my neons wired so they only come on when my trunk is open...So my question is...can i removes the light that is in the trunk and just sodder the wires to those existing pins in the light or do i have to wire them all the way up to the front of the car..Can someone please help me...I want to do the least work possible and if hooking them up to the trunk light wil work...SWEET...Thanks for any help.

I have one black light in my trunk. All I did was take out the bulb and put the wires through the holes in the pins and twist it. As far as running 4 neons, you MIGHT not be able to do that because of voltage. I'm not sure if all 4 will be bright or not because you are hooking 4 of them up to a 12V source, as where I have one hooked up to the 12V. You may need a power distribution block (You can get something like this from radio shack, it's a plastic piece with U-shapped metal pieces and you can attach wires to it. I don't remember what's it called, but just ask them.)

thanks...I ran only two and they work great...they are bright but could still have a little more to them but oh well...I ran an inline fuse to them aswell..Thanks for you help..=)
