Pics of custom cougar symbol?? Anyone.

I just wanted to see if anyone had pics of a cougar symbol, custom or otherwise. I wanted to replace the mercury symbol on the trunk with a custom cougar symbol from emblemart. I want to send them a design and see what they could do with it. If you have any pics, please post them.

hey i just had an idea!!! how bout an oval (like a ford emblem) and have something "like" the neco board cougar outline! if i could get something like that i would be in! chrome around the outside, black background, and a kick ass cool yellow outline of a cougar! well, what do ya think?

I will get that idea to my brother, he is a graphic designer. But I think that it would turn out pretty cool, I will keep you updated. The price isn't too bad for the symbol, as long as they already have it in their gallery. That is why I am trying to find something new, because it will be much cheaper if they make it for their gallery first. I will be in touch with them.

Oh yeah, the reason that I said it would need to be something new is that they said that if it was something that looked real good and attracted attention that they would make it on their own instead of me having to spend big bucks to have the first one made. Just trying to save money.

I tried to post a few pics that my brother came up with, but it keeps saying that the size is too big and then it deletes it. Any ideas. I tried to do just one of them and that was also too big. Thanks for the help.

Let me know what you think. The white parts would probably be chrome and the black wouldn't be there at all. (Unless they can keep it there at the shop). C-ya.

they look good! don't know about the "ford" cougar lettering though.....i would like to see the color combos that would be possible.....if you could leave the black and fill the white w/ yellow(would have to be close to the Zn yellow....) that would be sweet......then you could match it to what ever color people wanted.....don't know is that's feasible oor not though...... or even black w/ chrome where the white is...... are you looking for them to be like the emblems(raised plasic) or just vinyl?..... got lots of questions, but i'll just let you tell us exactly what you're planning on instead..........

ps, did you look at that cougar(the car) out line on the top of www.newcougar.org (the neco car outline)? just wonderin', cause i think that would be cool as hell too!!!plus a lot of neco members might like that as well.........just a thought......

I looked at those pics, but just trying to come up with something original. I have to contact the place that might be doing this to be sure, but what I do know is that the symbol will be an actual emblem, not a sticker. The white parts will be chrome, but not quite sure if they can keep the black in it or another color even. The wording would be seperate, so it wouldn't have to be on there, up to you. I am going to contact the company in the next few days to see what is up. If you check out emblemart.com, you can see a few things that they have in their gallery. Don't mind the prices though, I just ordered something from them that their site said would cost 120 and I got it for like 35 shipped!

p.s. I wouldn't mind finding a place that could make these in vinyl or something for a window sticker, if youknow of anywhere with good prices, let me know.

cool, keep us updated on your progress..............and not sure on the vinyl prices, but i know vinzdecals.com (not sure if that is the exact site or not) does a decent job on the stuff the offer and would prolly do custom stuff but don't know for how much $$$............

oh, and if you could ask em about colors, i would surely take one if hey could leave the cougar head black, yellow background and chrome where the white is.....if possible :) if ya have any questions pm me!! :biggrin:

one more thing, i guess it would depend on if they/you were planning on a cut out emblem or a solid one :)
