new to NECO

hi everyone! i've been reading the forums about meeting in columbia. i live in olney and that'd be a great meeting spot for me. would you mind if i came by the next time you all are meeting in columbia. keep in mind that i just bought my coog last wednesday, it was used, and no mods have been done. i just really want to see all that you guys have done and get some ideas. i have a 99 V6 MTX laser red coog. so, if you don't mind me coming, either drop me a pm or just reply to this thread. :)

sounds like there are a few coogs in my neck of the woods. that's great! onley is about 15 minutes from the rockville/gaithersburg area. it's where 97 (georgia ave) and rt 108 intersect. anyway, let me know when you guys want to get together...i don't mind driving now that i have a great car to drive:):biggrin:

Welcome yssupkat, I live in Bel Air about an hour from ya. I agree with Heather we are way overdue for a large meet. College Park last winter was a blast and I hope we can have a meet like that again real soon. I'm down to meet in Columbia or somewhere location friendly to both MD and VA! I too have some mods that need done (ST200 Struts, new guages, and experimental Indiglo needles). I'd love to get together this weekend but I realize thats short notice for most people. Whatever we do, lets invite the Contours too!

yssupkat- Virginia Beach is a 5 hr drive each way for me. I dont think I'll be attending that meet but something a bit more local I'm game for. The folks in south VA have formed there own chapter called Tidewater Neco due to their remote location in realtion to most of Cap Neco. I believe Troy (Fordman) heads up that chapeter and there a great bunch to hang out with. I just wish they weren't so far away from me...

It's great to have you as a new member to NECO. I'm one of the guys from Va Bch(Tidewater NECO). It is a bit of a drive down here, however we all try to meet up a few times a year so we can all hang out. Cap NECO is a great bunch of car lovin folks.

I hope you guys have fun this weekend and next, please wish us luck at the show on Sun.

We will be coming up there the weekend of the 21st, I know it's right before Christmas, but if anybody wants to get together that Sat. I'm game.
