Hey does anyone know of a place that does dynos???? Central/Northern Ohio is my preference. Possibly we could go during our first meet back. We may even get a discount if enough of you want to do it :)

I have that very same question in my mind - where to dyno??? My company has a plant in Fostoria with a full dyno-lab (used for testing Autolite & Split Fire spark plugs). I worked there for 2 years, and I'm going to give them a ring and see if they'd have a problem with a handful of us using the lab, with their help and supervision of course. If we had a dyno in our lab here in Perrysburg, it'd be no problem for us to use it. Probably the easiest time for Fostoria would be during the 2-wk plant shutdown around June-July, I'd imagine, but I'll have to check everything out. Hopefully, it'all all work out for us. :) I make no guarantees.

I'll keep you posted.

Dan

I found a Dynoshop in Eastlake, OH called Dynotec. I talked to a guy named Steve Pillic. They would charge $900 for the day if we would go to their shop in Eastlake or $1200 if we wanted them to come to Summit or any other place. (They are a travelling dyno.) If there are enough members interested, it would be worth it. According to Steve, their parking lot is large enough to hold at least 20 Cougars. Their phone number is 440-942-3349. Maybe someone with better bargaining skills can work out a better price. BTW, they are 12 miles east of Cleveland.
