Have WISCOFest 2002 In Milwaukee

I think Milwaukee is the best place to have Wi CougarFest. It has the most to offer and we can burn up all the ricers on Hwy 100. Plus everyone will finally be able to drink SODA and get water from a BUBBLER!!!!

actually, I was TRYING to get a meet in Milwaukee...but no...........nobody backed me up.

Madison is more opened up....I have a quarter mile on priveate property <marked>
I have a two mile stretch of open road no cars or people or houses :)

i remember the last meet we had in milwaukee... a buncha people got lost and went home. ;)

i don't mind milwaukee... when it's not people taking off from EVERY stoplight and losing everyone else.

milwaukee just has too much traffic for the places you guys wanna go. give us a nice outta the way meet, and i'd be 100% all for it. but for right now i'm at about.. 65%

Ja..........milwaukee rulez, perhaps we could post maps, and hand them out at the meeting point, so nobody would get lost in going to the destination?
ALso if anyone is interested in AutoX, i can get some dates for it. Otherwise i can look into a dyno, or else what everyone wants to do :)

it wasn't that ppl don't know how to follow... it was that a certain ahem "person" thought it was funny to lose ppl from out of town.... but i don't think that will be an issue anymore :biggrin:

plus if it's in milwaukee i can go bother Mr and Mrs Gnuloco ..which is always fun :)

Reasons:
1.It's closer to me than Madison(1 hour compared to 2 my compadres)

2.Think about it. Milwaukee in summertime is FEST CITY. They have a different FEST down their
like every week during the summer.
We could plan it during Summerfest - and have the meet their. We all meet up , and cruise the
grounds, listen to some good music, drink some good beer, have a good time :).

3.I've been to Mad-town 3 times this year, we need a change of venue.

4.Milwaukee has a new addition to the art museum. (oooooh the brise soleill).
Milwaukee has a new baseball stadium(Brewers).
Milwaukee has beer! and cheese!

Milwaukee is the place for WISOFEST 2002!!!!

I vote for Milwaukee, obviously, I live there in the summer. I would have to disagree with having it during summerfest. Out of towners might have troubles finding hotels plus the city is just crazy with traffic anyways. Great Lakes dragway is also within 20 min and they have an open weekend or two every month. I go to school in Green Bay and I just want everyone to know to stay as far away from this palce as possible.

If it is Milwaukee, I am more likely to get IL NECO Buds to come up for the weekend....

That way the more southern crew come too w/out it being a long long drive.
