Im going to buy the zex nitrous kit and found these spark plugs, there application chart doesnt have cougar(neither does the one for the nitrous kit) but they are all the same code. They are "pre-gapped" for performance so doe sths mean they ill fit the cougar?

Trevor didn't get plugs with his Zex kit- He ran a 2-step colder Champion plug, IIRC. Trevor will have to post the temp. and gapping info.

The plugs that I got with my ZEX kit didn't fit ... they are made for Hondas and Acuras. As for what to use, use a copper plug ... nitrous and platinum don't mix ... the platinum retains much more heat, thus leading to detination ... BAD! Get 1 or 2 steps colder STOCK copper plugs from your dealership or from a local auto parts store. As for gapping ... anywhere from 0.035-0.045. Start at the higher setting and close the gap accordingly if the car starts to backfire. Hope this helps!
