Who else is thinking of making it?

OK, I only have one question.... Who the hell decided Tennessee was a prime place for a get together like this??? Have you guys ever been to TN??? Talk about a boring ass place to be. I believe the last time I got on a plane to leave there I made a vow to never set foot in Tennessee again.... *puke* Did I mention TN sucks?? hehe

just cause i'm going from chapter to chapter to read up on the CF2K2 threads.

Thundercat: I though the EXACT same thing as you did. That's why I actually went there myself to check it out. Well Knoxville was hick and boring just like I though, but I was told to check out Pigeon Forge and Gattlinburg (5 miles from each other). Well Pigeon Forge reminded me of thoses tourists locations in Florida. Tons of things to do... and I do mean TONS of things to do. Gattlinburg, when I cruised the strip at night, every other car was modded most of which were compacts. And they did have a decent collection of bars. Just to let you know, Gattlinburg and Pigeon Forge are at the base of the smoky mountains.

Well, that's goos to know. I've never been to either spot so I guess I was jumping the gun, I just don't want it to suck. I've only been to Nashville and the surrounding areas. Not cool for anyone over 21 looking to have some fun. hehe Nice background scenery for some pics, but thats about it. I'm sure it will be great regardless... Thanks puck.

It's a 13 hour drive for me, so I am not sure if I will be going. It all depends on timing. If it's a matter of taking a three day weekend, I might go. It would be cool to put faces with all the user names...and to actually see all the cars that I have been looking at pictures of.

the roads are awesome also.... i had more fun driving around there than anything else.... oh and they have really cool go-kart tracks, a water park (like you care coming from florida :) ), and well a bunch of tourists things.... but the main point is gonna be the show and i'm gonna try to plan as many group discounts for the various types of events offered in the area.

But this year, I do believe that there will be many Florida people. Not just me a rob like last year. Can't wait, we could very well have a 20 + caravan driving into Cougarfest this year. And that Alone would make the trip worth it!!!!!!!!

Caravaning is awesome....if we have 20 it will be crazy..it might be real hard to stick together with everybody's different driving styles....not to mention the v6 vs. 4banger on-ramp demonstration...remember that?"You guys still there?"..hehe hopefully we wont have the white knuckel drive in the rain like last year either...Oh that's right ....you were asleep Rob...while James and I were havin a fit. MAN!!! I cant believe you people are making plans for CF this early. It isnt till July!! But, as of right now, i dont see why i wouldnt be going. This would be my first one as i have only had my cougar since May and just got hooked up with NECO a few weeks ago. Sounds like a good time!

Lets just remember that this 4 banger will keep up with all you v6's until we hit 115mph then well I am not in control of that, but anyway, hopefully no crazy mishaps with lightning or any other act of God.
