Some of you may remember the little girl on the big wheel that I beat a few months back, well she wanted to race again, only this time she had upgraded to a little girl bike with training wheels.
I was a little afraid of taking this challenege, but I can't pass up a good race. We lined up at the stop sign, her on the sidewalk, me in the street.
I waited for her signal, "GO!". We were off, she had me by a bikle length by the time we crossed the street. and half way down the block she was ahead by 3 bike lengths, but I have the secret weapon.
I slowly reached down, flipped the lid and pressed the green button, BOOM! A 75 shot of NOS and I was now 3 cars ahead of her. I pulled over at the next stop to tell her nice race.
But all I got was the finger and a look of disgust as she yelled "CHEATER!"
I told her maybe when she turns 6 she might have a chance and I sped away.
That was my kill. :biggrin: I am so PROUD! :biggrin:

Good kill man! Those little girl bikes are fast. If she had eaten a sugary bowl of cereal before hand you might have been in trouble.
I beat one once, but only because she threw a rod...er um, pedal. Even with only 1 pedal she stayed at my rear wheel. Good thing I had recently filled up with high test.:tongue:
Ok, I am going to have to call BS on this one. A big wheel, sure I can see you beating that...but a little girl bike....BS..there is NO way.
It would take a hell of a lot more than your NOS to over come her training wheels....they add like 275HP, and that's if they aren't yellow. If they were yellow, add at least another 50HP.
The gearing ratio of the LGB is a hell of a lot tighter than that of a Cougar, and of course she has you on the power to weight ratio. The Cougar is too heavy for the power, but the LGB is running a lot lighter.
Here are the numbers I pulled from the latest editions of Car and Driver, and Bike and Girl.
V6 Cougar: 170 HP
3200lbs
LGB: 1 GP (Girl power)
10.5 lbs

Hey Fett,
I know she had the faster vehicle and better weight/power distribution, but that doesn't always make up the race. The driver has to be well tuned to their machine as well. And frankly, she hasn't had the LGB long enough to really know how to utilize or control all that power.
As I have said before it is 50% vehicle / 50% Driver.
Now if I were to meet her again after a few months when she has more experience, I think the outcome would have been different, NOS or not. :biggrin:

That was a close one....good job. Watch out for when she gets a road bike with 28 gears....then you're in trouble. (She will have to grow up a couple of years before that, though)

Good kill. I stay away from them, just cant keep up with power/weight ratio and a good breakfast ;)
Yea, I hear you there Tank....she might not have the experience on the LGB yet. Maybe she screwed up her launch, her right foot slipped off the pedal or something.
Seriously though, be careful. When you are talking a race between a Cougar and a LGB...that is going to be some nasty speed....just be careful man...be careful.

Tank, you hear that buddy? You had better hope she doesn't get that 100 shot....if she does you are in some deep **** the next time you two line up. I had heard rumors of a possible ZEX LGB, but I thought it was all BS.
I also heard rumors of a LGB-S.....maybe even the LGB Type-R. :eek:

Damn you ZEX! I will stand no chance now, especially if her rich daddy goes out and buys her the LGB-S with fuel management system, ZEX 100 shot, and a huge sugary bowl of cereal.
I think I may just avoid that race from now on.
Or maybe I can score the new LBB Type R with a 150 shot NOS kit.
Can you imagine the awesome power that will create???????????

I tried using nitrous while racing my bike once... It made this weird buzzing sound in my head, I got all giggly, and I almost fell off. What did I do wrong?

Holy crap man, if she actually get's the sugary bowl of cereal.....just walk away man, you hear me?? WALK AWAY! You don't want to be fooling around with some little girl, on a ZEX powered LBG-R...especially if she's all hopped up on sugar.

I will take that advice Fett.
How would I explain it to my peers:
"Yeah I got in a mad race with this little blonde haired schoolgirl from the elementary down the road. She had that new LGB-R with the ZEX kit and had to have eaten 4 twinkies before the race. She took it too me, I have never in my life seen something so fast. Watch out guys, she has debadged the bike to make it look like a sleeper. She will be the girl on the Yellow LGB with the banana seat and fringe coming off the handles. She has the new 110 spoke steel wheels with multi-color beads on every spoke. That bike is BAAAAAADDD!!!!!"
I am just going to go the other way if I see this girl again:flushed:
