okay how bout this???

1) tenative date set in Spring?

2) ALL NECO members are welcome to come - infact I think that someone should post about it once a date has been picked... also I think Atomic Internet can add it to the list of events on the CF2002 web site.

3) I think that events should take place in Madison and in Milwaukee (maybe make this a 2 day event?)

4) Sponsering would be great -- Sponsers come to our event or we go to them???

5) My house is open for anyone who wants to stay

6) with the combined amount of members in the Madison/Milwaukee/Appleton area I think that NO ONE will need hotel accomodations (unless ALOT of people show up)

7) I volunteered to help and asked Matt to help... but ANYONE who wants to help can --- there have been lots of meets where no one really gave any input and we either never had a meet or else it was all planned in haste the week before.

8) the out of state people need a date set ASAP.... people need to plan for vacations and whatnot...

9) I believe so far we have these interested individuals: Puck Puck, Uridian, LittleB, Sttitch, EricF, Teflon, Scuba, Merc, Monogodo, Edgecat, SSix, Carck7 -- (I'm sure I left some people out... sorry)

10) Should we form a small group on this event? like a organizing panel??? we have a small meet once or twice a month and discuss only this event and work together in the planning of it and assign duties and delegate? and if so --- who would want to be on this panel???? ( I volunteered so I guess I would be on this)

11) I still think that a date should be announced on or by Dec. 1st....

12) would it be possible for WI-NECO to form some sort of mailing list? sorta like the mailing list for NECO? where we could all talk and give ideas about this fest so NO ONE is left in the dark and all input is received?

13) I think that for this entire event to be a success we all need to work as a group and not just sit back and wait for someone to tell the rest of the members what is planned -- cuz thats when people get pissy about no one knowing anything and that certain key members (leaders) were not involved in the planning of an event...

couple things... some ppl that registered asked that email addresses not be given out... so i will not be able to give out the list that i have...

i think that a poll should be setup regarding location ... and other areas besides madison and milwaukee should be considered because some ppl are unable to make it to those locations and the weather may be a big factor depending on when the event is scheduled...

as for the date... i think that we should try to get it setup asap so ppl can make plans....

<< 7) I volunteered to help and asked Matt to help... but ANYONE who wants to help can --- there have been lots of meets where no one really gave any input and we either never had a meet or else it was all planned in haste the week before. >>

this is not done due to lack of asking what is going to be done... anyone that knows me knows that i like to have things planned and taken care of ... i mean .. geez.. i already have all my christmas shopping done, wrapped and christmas cards ready to go out :) (mostly because the baby is due next month but still! )
if you volunteer to take part in the planning ... PLEASE follow thru!!! there have been many instances where ppl from a location say "oh i live there and will help plan" and then they do nothing... so please follow thru!!

1) ANyone willing to stay in milwaukee, we have about room for 2 people, although parking will have to be in a structure since we live in downtown milwaukee(very very nice area, very low crime rate).

2) If it does become a 2 day meet, i would request the sunday portion to be in Milwaukee, for an Autocross event. I can look into dates, because WAI has 1 event a month, and SCCA has one event a month. Both events have equal turnout, and equally chalanging courses.

3) If there is any interest, we can look into a dyno day, i will try and contact the shop in milwaukee that supposedly has a dyno, otherwise we could make a quick burn down to Illinois for a dyno pull. We could combine with Il-Neco and maybe get some nice group pricing :)

4) ummmmmmmm unsure at this time, but ill come up with something

we will also need a ratio of those who can and will go clubbin vs. those who won't.

i'm officially placing myself in charging of Team Stinger: a select choice of men and women that will start the evening going to hooters and chuck e cheese, and end it stinging members of the opposite sex.

I really don't wanna go to Hooters.... but as far as stinging members of the opposite sex I'm all up for that.....

BTW -- can the Stinger be modified somehow that us women can use it on Males? and if so I need a test subject who wants to help me develop it so I can let Esteim/Da Sack is Back market it....

Well I am definitely interested in going! I am very available to help, even though I don't live in Wisconsin (good old Twin Cities, MN). I will be spending plenty of time at home in February and March (maybe even the beginning of April) after my surgery. Therefore, I will need something to do. So seriously, PLEASE let me know what I can do from here. Atckcat, let me know if you have anything you need done.

I can't wait to meet all you guys!!!!!

This is funny... This went from me and Teflon and Merc coming out to eat cheese and get drunk to a huge event... We rock.
