I bought the CTA intake like a couple months ago but I didnt install it untill last weekend. At first I had a hard time with making it fit. It was hitting the hood. But then looking at the coupling that went to the throtle body I figured out how it went. Now it fits perfect and does not rub on the hood. I can feel a little gain with some better throtle response. I didnt know that the intake was going to be so loud, but it gives the I4 a little meaner growl. I sure am happy with it and I would recommed it to anyone.

Thanx. It took a couple times with the hood and all but I finally got it right.
I installed the Accel Coil the day it came in. Wasn't hard at all. I havent really noticed anything with it but I am planning on getting some Ford Racing Wires and some Bosch plugs. So mabey then I'll feel some gain. I need to get an exhaust soon also.

It's crazy how much noise the intake makes without the stock air box. The entire inside of that box is just one big baffle to reduce noise. That's all it's there for. You'll be interested to know too that the throttle body is also a big source of restriction and that a lot of the throttle hang is caused by that bottle necked opening.
