What's the best intake available for our 4-bangers? (i know there's a couple different ones out there, but im wondering which one is the best??)
also... has anyone had any fitment problems with any of the intakes we have available with an OMP strut bar in place??
reason im asking is cause i kinda wanna get the best one out there... and soon (before the final show of the year here in ga) and i figure the only way to find out which is the best is by asking the people that have them!!! please respond ASAP! :)

i have the cta one in my four banger and i llove it. its sounds great and looks good. the only thing i could say to improve it is i wish it was 1 piece ill see if i can dig up a picture

Asking for the best is basically an opinion.....ct's got the cta......bagoz has a weapon r fitted on his......i've got an aem short ram on mine.....so it's a matter of taste in my opinion and how much you wanna spend.
I think the CTA was something around $129 or so....i'm not sure what weapon R is...and mine was $160 shipped....so you gotta evaluate from there.
I love mine...i'm damn glas i bought it.....it sounds mean as hell....you can ask mercmobile about it, he saw it this weekend....not sure wht else to tell ya mang :)

The zetec contours are loving the CTA because it replaces the whole accordian tube and useless plenum chamber...
yes... im actually looking into getting this as a group buy (i think i like it over the KKM pretty much).... so if any of you are interested... let me know! :)

yes on the cta... im trying to negotiate the deal now... pricing and such... if it sounds good to me... then i'll bring it out for everyone... including CEG members if they're interested....

I like my AEM Short Ram Air intake (red). It sounds great and adds a little bit to the performance. I noticed it climbed rpm's a little quicker. Just my .02
I'd be interested in the CTA intake, let me know how much it's going to cost.

Yeah I got the CTA and I'm not complaining. It was $130 plus shipping for me. But if ccc3 can get a group buy on it, I would jump all over that. It looks good, sounds good, and you get some better throtle response. And you can choose different colors on the couplings. I think it was blue, yellow, and red.

they seem to be dragging their feet as far as the group buy goes... im gonna try to get in touch with them yet again today... im hoping that i can maybe get for a slight bit off/no shipping... but no promises! I'll keep you all posted!
