i need help in swapping my stock sway bar to the new one. i undo all the bolts but the bar is hanging there, how exactly do i take it out and put the new one in. thanks

I haven't done it yet but I'm pretty sure that you have to lower the gas tank a bit in order to get the old bar out and slide the new one in.

how exactly do i do that? lower the tank ,yeah that seems to be the problem it gets stuck .
There are two support straps on either side of the tank. Remove the bolts on those straps. That will allow you to lower the fuel tank a little.

You should now be able to remove the old bar and put the new one in.

You can get it in without lowering the gas tank. It just takes a couple of people. and a lift would be helpful too.

How much is the rear sway bar, and what size is it?
