Does anyone know for sure if the KKM SVT Intake (with cool air wrap) will fit on the 6 cyl. Cougar? KKM reccommends not trying, but didnt say it WOULDNT. If it will fit, how much extra work does it require? Special mounting brackets? I am looking to order ASAP so please help here. Thanks

the ONLY difference is that the SVT version comes with a tibe that connects the open end of the cone filter to the opening in the fender well. That's it. many, MANY cougar owners have the SVT version on their car here at NECO. Mounting, filter and adapter are all the same as the non-SVT version. Hope this helps...

Thanks Guys....the guy at KKM made it sound like it was going to be a problem to make some kind of mounting bracket for the Temp guage and then the filter might be a little tight...geez....will be ordering tomorrow....thanks again.
