well i was just dropping into the message board to see whats been going on?

just gonna check out some new mods... what has everyone done to their cougs and what are you planning on doing... im bored so i figured id tried to steal some other ppls mods :)

eh well blow her up maybe? hehe na well mods for the year was replaceing all three catalysis converters and 3 alternators. Yea the converters are under warranty but thats 8yr/80K miles. I was at 102K miles when replaced :( so I got the shaft, $1700 to get them replaced. Only paid $200 for alternator but the replacement was defected so they replaced again, and again it was defected. So the 4th alt that is on there now was from a different vendor but still ford made. So far so good **keeping fingers crossed*


But the actual mods I have set which will be upcoming year and next week: ;)

kaminari body kit and engine cover painted --- getting installed Monday, will take a few days. I'll post pics of it later in the week or next week.
Aerogear predator hood -- spring 2002
Aerogear spoiler -- spring 2002.
Mondera stiletto wheels -- summer 2002.
painted brake capilers -- done
leather interior solid black, dash area just above steering wheel painted red to match body, door section where speaker is a plush fabric painted red for front and rear. Black carpet with black floor mats with cougar logos. And red carbon fiber dash kit. -- winter 2002 to spring 2003. Depending on fundings.
painted light covers -- front/rear probably winter 2001 or spring 2002.
Eclipise Cd player -- done
MTX Comp Blue Thunders, 3 10" subs -- done.


The interior is going to be the most expensive part it seems. Interior will be solid black with red inserts in the doors and the dash area. Even the interior roof will be black. Think that would look good. Sometimes I wonder if I should just buy a new car, like the Mazda RX 8 :)

But then again, I have bills and well I do like the cougar so will fix her on up :) After all, soon to be paid for :)


Oh and Eibach springs and Koni stuts -- lower 1.2" all around -- summer 2002.
