Need some info. What would i have to do to take the clear plastic cover off of a stock fog light assembly? [Archive]

I need to clean the inside of one of my lights. Could someone tell me what i'dd need to do to take off the front plastic cover as well as putting the cover back on. Help Please !

ummm..... not easy i can tell you that much, but here goes

Get 3 razor blades, some non-hardening gasket sealer a flathead screwdriver, and a good utility knife....

Now take the 3 razor blades and slowly and carefully put them so that you pull up on the clear clips, and let them stay there..... using the utility knife try to score the butyl sealant holding the lens on... after a little scoring using the screwdriver start to pry them apart... start from the skinny end... after you do it a little, use the utility knife to score it some more.... and keep on working.... when you get closer to the big end you gotta pull straight off now, do not open it up like a door or you'll break the last clip.... once done clean out all the butyl, apply your sealant and snap it back together....
