Friend of mine has a 4 cyl. Cougar and is looking into an ECU or Ignition upgrade. Anyone know about these? He's wanting to do anything he can to make his 4 cyl. fast....

ACCEL makes an ignition coil for the zetec, but it won't help a whole lot without other mods. Ignition wires, intake, and a few other bolt-ons combined with the coil should help, but a turbo will be needed to make a zetec go very fast.

dont worry about the ignition until you get past the basic bolt ons, cams, cam gears, etc.
he can also get his head ported and polished. on the zx2 a good head job will put over 50 hp at the wheels.
