Well, first you have to kick a Honda's tailpipe. Then after that, you have to kick it again. Then after that, ditto...

Seriously, it just depends on how involved you want to be. We have basic free membership, but we have a higher level paid membership. Dues for that are only $5 a month. And you get decals and eventually t-shirts with that, plus some other stuff non-paid members dont get.

To get more info, PM 'Morph', the FL-NECO el-presidente and he'll be more than happy to show you the 411 on the club.

Hey Synergii1 email me sometime where do you live? If over by Orlando I am there often and wouldnt mind checking out your car sometime. but who is your ex fiance? I have only had this car for 4 months. Buy yeah the NOS does treat me very good. Of the block using it which I should you are looking about 3 seconds off your time 0-60. Actually going out this weekend with my friend Dave. He just bought a 2001 Eclipse and we are doing mods to it so we can go Honda hunting haha.

The only requirements to be a member are:
1 - live in Florida
2 - own a 99+ Cougar

Easy enough, if you have any questions don't be shy we're all friends here. If you want to know more about the dues stuff, check out the thread titled "Paid Dues". We don't have a definite meet set yet for this month, but hopefully you can make it and meet everyone, and of course show off your car a little. Let me know if you are ever in the Orlando area, thats where I live too, maybe we can all meet up and cruise around.

My ex fiance's name is trevor, he bought the car in 98 and then he sold it to the next owner, in Tampa, his name was Phil..I'm sure thats who you bought it from, because those are all the mods that trevor had. He was one of the first NECO members like me.

Phil said he ahd to free up some credit so he wanted to sell it to pay it off, which in turn paided off for me. I talked with Morph last night and i am going to Orlando Friday. There is a car show usually there first Friday of month and mostly domestic cars. I am going to try my hardest to be there and he said he is going to try too. In case you want to show up its a huge plaza that has Best Buy, Movie theater, and Super Target in it by UCF. So at least if us 3 showed up it would be a nice little show. Hope to see ya there. By the way where does Trevor live now? He use to live in Cali form what i understand and Phil did in Virginia before.

When is the car show? What best buy by UCF? im not aware of one execpt the one on E colonial...

If you are at UCF, make a left onto Alafaya Trail, go past Colonial and there is a huge new shopping center on the left called Waterford Lakes. Its only been up for about a year but its hard to miss. If you take 408 east and exit on Alafaya Trail, make a left and your there.

Anybody else in the Orlando area is welcome to come out and join us, I think Jeff mentioned its around 6pm on Friday. I'll probably show up a little earlier and see if I can enter my car.

Was there a show? I got there at 5pm with Madmanan and we circled the parking lot for awhile but didn't see anything resembling a car show. BigCountry joined the search around 6 and we sat in the Best Buy parking lot until nearly 7. We finally gave up and decided to catch a movie. Was the show not actually in the shopping center or somewhere nearby maybe? Jeff... I was looking for your car but I didn't see it anywhere.

Hey all, I want to apologize for not getting to show up. And now finding out there may have not even been a show. I was on my way to Kissimmie to my girls house before i went to the show. I got on the 408 when my check engine light came on. Then my second gear got very slugish. After a bit so was first gear. So i stayed at her house for the night. And didnt want to risk driving farther than I had to. I checked under the hood and all fluids and nothing seems to be wrong. My friends dad is a mechanic for ford and has a computer to hook to my car. So Monday I should find out whats up with the trans and hopefully its not too bad. Once again sorry to all and hopefully I can come over next week to meet everyone.

it's okay....we had a lot of fun tonight, we went out the car show and afterwards to disney quest and virgin megastore..we took pics..I got a few im going to develope tomorrow.. =>

You guys missed it, right after I exited off the highway I was driving down Sand Lake Rd where I noticed a huge line of cars waiting to get into the RaceTrac gas station. Plus the gas station was already overflowing with cars...STREETRACERS!!! I headed over and there were at least 70 cars just sitting in and around the RaceTrac, it took me twenty minutes to get thru them all. Some imports, some domestic, some rice, it was crazy. Turns out they were all meeting there and waiting for someone to find a place where they could race, once somebody did everyone all these cars started pouring out of there. We tried to follow them but half went one way at the intersection and half went another way. We gave up and figured we try to catch them next weekend. I don't know if they always meet there or what, it was 1am at the RaceTrac on Sand Lake not far from the Wal Mart. I don't know how there weren't any cops. Anyway, I did see a white Cougar there with a funky import type spoiler, I gave him a flyer. If you guys want, we can try to get in on the action next weekend, it would be sweet as hell to have 4 or more Cougars driving in there, people had camcorders and everything. Team FL NECO!

Rofl Murphy, thats funny!!! Did you see the guy flick us off on I-4 in the probe?? He was mad we took up three lanes...I tried to get a picture of him too because it was so hilarious...lol I dont know if it came out..I'll find out tonight.

I wouldn't go join the race team at race rock because cops are super harsh...I guess they were trying to reinact the fast and furious...heheheh
