View Full Version : I have a new job.
Well, its official...
I have been hired by two professional tennis players to be thier chiropractor.
Ivan Ljubicic and Fabio Fognini hired me last week and i will basically travel with them and take care of them. i will get 400 euros per day plus all my expenses paid, including hotel, transportations food etc etc. I wll be going to all the major tournaments including Australian open, French open, Wimbledon and U.S. Open. (but not this years open) I am also given an apartment in Monte Carlo, since i will be there 1 week out of the month every month.
And the best part is that i will still work in Croatia at my private practice. (i would not have taken the job if i could not keep my private practice).
I am really stoked since this is something that i wanted to do for a long time... but not having the connections and opportunities to do so... well, my time has arrived!
Next month, i will be traveling to Moscow, Madrid and Paris.
(this job also comes with some nice perks... i get to meet lots of famous people. I already met Ana Ivanovic, who is a current womens number 1, and will be meeting Roger Federer very soon.)

Thats awesome! My first question was going to be "do you still get to keep your secretary??" but you said you are keeping the private practice, so I guess you do :)

*shrugs* i've never had a chiropractor spend more than 10 mins on me in a single session -- but i've had numerous sessions in one day.

Thanks guys!
And my job is bit more involved. Im basically their medical advisor. I work on their back when they need to but am more concerned with balancing their body, especially their muscles. All the fitness programs i now have to go through and make sure that its best for their body type. i test all the muscles and make sure that they are balanced from front to back and side to side. If there is an imbalance, i use a technique called applied kinesiology to balance it out. I also can do taping (for ankles) and also kinesio taping. Im also trained in taking care of any kind of injuries so im thier doctor for the initial exam and consult.
Its actually pretty cool because when they go see a medical doctor and get an opinion, i have the final say so on what they need to do. :)
Basically, im the framework for the players health.

dont worry. Especially during grand slams, we should have some very interesting pictures.

A little late on this one, but that's awesome news Rich. Maybe I'll be the only person to ask this, but what does that mean for the coug? From the sounds of it you aren't going to be around to post the finished pics that everyone has been waiting for lol.
