I didn't notice any rules that said we could only put auto and parts FS threads in here so here I go... If this is against the rules, feel free to remove my thread.

Up for sale is an M4 style AR-15. It is an Armalite upper with a Lauer lower receiver. I'm selling it because since I bought it brand new, I have put less than 300 rounds through it :( It has been cleaned and oiled every time it was brought out. Here's the options

6 position adjustable stock
Quad accessory rail
Tactical Foregrip
4 30 rd USGI grey mags
Flashlight holder w/ Garrity flashlight
Rail Covers
NcStar tactical sight
Removable flip-up rear sight
Harris bipod
Centerpoint 4-16x illuminated scope w/ covers
Tactical carrying case
Cheap magazine clamp
Flash hider

I'm asking for $1300 OBO for everything here. I would very much prefer to sell locally, but if you can explain the process to me and will pay shipping, I'll oblige. Thanks for your time. If you have any other questions or want any other pics let me know. Sorry for the weird sizes, I'm still trying to figure photobucket out.

Also, the upper is chambered in 5.56, not .223. This means that you can shoot EITHER .223 OR surplus 5.56 (cuz there's so much of that floating around ;) ) I'll also throw in the allen wrenches you'll need to remove and sight in accessories and a decent sling.

That's the bipod and the crappy old foregrip. If you want, I'll throw in the laser, but it is a total cheap piece of crap. It has a pressure switch that really doesn't work.

I should probably mention that I'm not interested in parting small parts. What I WILL consider parting is the lower receiver from everything else. If I keep the lower, I will knock off $100 (about the cost of a new lower receiver) and then I will be able to ship it via US mail to your doorstep. You will just need to hit up an FFL and get yourself a new lower. The lower is what the ATF considers the "firearm" part of the gun so it is the only part that you would need to get from an FFL.
Other than that, just make me an offer guys I will entertain anything that isn't a total lowball offer.

Hmm... try this one

Otherwise if you search for "m4" under semi-auto rifles it is on page 2. The picture on gunbroker is the one of it sitting on the coffee table.

Yeah, its different when you own it and don't have someone to inspect it. But your right cleaning still sucks

FYI, 5.56 mm is same caliber as .223.
one is metric, the other is in inches.

True. But using 5.56 ammo in a .223 upper has been known to cause blowback and screw up the lower receiver. 5.56 uppers can shoot either with no problem.

Who couldn't :D

Cleaning it is a pain but after a while you can do it with your eyes closed. And it's totally worth is when my buddy with an AK-47 starts talking crap before we head to the range about my "pussy" 5.56. Putting together ass-tight groups at 100 yards when he is lucky to hit the target with half his shots shuts him up really quick.

Thanks man! That is a very well done Cougar you have. Some people go over the line with the paint and body kits into rice territory but yours is perfectly done. I love it.

Hmmmmmmm. I own a .22 and a .45 but I can't say I know much about assault rifles. Sounds like our soldiers have some experience with these. :) If a guy was to own only one assault rifle, would this be the model to get? Or are there more reliable and easier to use models out there?
