Well, if any good news could possibly come from my accident, its that i'm getting $1200 more from my insurance company! Now, what I need to know is should I get a set of Rims and Tires, OR, get the MSDS Headers?!? I'm kinda leaning towards the Rims and Tires, but I don't know what kind I should get! Anyways, if anyone has any suggestions, PLEASE let me know!!!

Anything but TSW VX-1's! ;)

Seriously, just go with a style that suits you and what fits into your budget. Rims are so subjective. What I like others may hate and vice versa. I've got some brochures and stuff at home. If I can remember, I'll bring them with me on Sunday. Before I bought the TSW's I almost went with Speedy Milano's in 17". They look wicked on our cars!! They somewhat resemble the Hockenheim's but much nicer looking. They had them at Tiremag on Keele North of Hwy. 7 (that's where I ended up buying my rims) but I'm sure Wheels Direct or Automotive Import Market carry them as well.

what dom said...why don't you pick a few styles and show us what you are thinking of doing...I know what I like, but would you like it? Dom would like what I like thats why one day he will go outside and find his rims missing...
:evil;

I wouldn't even think of getting the TSW VX-1's! I know they look good on your car, and I don't want to copy your look! I guess i'll take a trip over to Tiremag and see what they have. If anyone has any other suggestions, please let me know!

Well, here are some of the rims i'm thinking about:

Team Dynamic's Monza (http://www.teamdynamicsusa.com/wheels/wheel-images/monzaanthracite.jpg)

I like them in Anthracite, minus the Yellow writing of course! ;)

TSW Hockenheim R (http://tsw.com/findwheels/catalog/wheelimages/HOCKENHEIM.jpg)

I LOVE these rims, but they're DAMN expensive! :disgust:

Mike,

how much were the TSW's? The Milano's were (as I was quoted) $2185 tax in. 17"x8" with 215/45/17 Bridgestone Potenza RE910's. If you got Kuhmo's like mine you could probably get the price dropped. Besides, that was over a year ago so the price may have come down. These are them: Speedy "Milano" (http://www.speedywheels.com/Zoom%20Wheels/Milano.htm)

Well, I went into Tiremag today, and got a few prices, well, I think i've found the rims that I want! I saw the Speedy Milanos, and I love them! They're 17x8 Speedy Milano with 215/45/R17 Yokohama Avid H4. The price? $2,185.00! I think thats a pretty good deal. Anyways, I should be getting them next week, then i'll de done with modding for a while!

Mike, correct me if I am wrong, but that is H rated rubber only as in H4. Those are only rated for 130mph. It's not that you will be running at those speeds (maybe???) but it's the tire composition and compound. See if you can get them to quote you on a V rated tire as they have stronger side walls and are usually have a stickier compound.

Hehehe! I knew you'd like them!! Like I said, I came within an inch of getting those rims........the minute we put them up next to my car I was in love. That is until I got my VX-1's of course

Damn I'm good! ;)

Anyhow, can't wait to see them!

Well, after some long and hard thinking, I believe i've decided against the rims for now. I realized that there are other things I can use the money for, all car related of course! ;) Anyways, I need some suggestions on what else to buy, any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Thanks alot,
Mike
