Hello all! I have been lurking around the forums for quite some time, and decided to finally speak up. I am interested in joining the Arizona NECO group and getting to know you all. I believe I am the only one in Scottsdale, AZ here, but I saw some people from Tempe and Phoenix on the member list. I own a red '99 Cougar with a body kit, lowered, (not sure with what, it was lowered when I bought it) Weapon-R Secret Weapon Intake, a sound system, and a few other minor things. I used to work at my dad's shop called SoundWerks in Phoenix on 40th street and Bell Road. SoundWerks is a car/boat audio install store that is known for doing expensive, custom work. My cougar has an Alpine head unit and 300 watt mono amp. with two "10 JL W3's boxed up. At the time I just wanted to install a basic, yet loud system. I still have to replace the front and rear speakers with Alpines, change the amp to a ~500watt 4 channel amplifier, build a custom fiberglass mold, and add a capacitor mostly for looks but also to keep my headlights from dimming when the woofers are bumping. Anyways, I've become obsessed with my cougar and working on buying/installing more upgrades for horsepower/torque and improving it's looks.

Cool! Back in 1993, Soundwerks installed some audio stuff in the camaro I had back then. I haven't been there since, but I drive by it often :). I, like Bobby, don't live too far from that store.

That's awesome! SoundWerks was only a few years old back then. That's great that you live in the area, too. It's about a 15 minute drive from my house to 40th and Bell Road, not far by any means. You see any nice cars parked outside when you drive by? Sometimes we get some incredibly wealthy customers, celebrities, and sports stars.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, I'm glad I found a group like this. Without a doubt, I will be at the meetings/events. Since I'm assuming they don't occur often, we should just arrange meet ups ourselves?
