Ok well I have posted already that my transmission went out completley this weekend. Well My mechanic called me this evening and asked me if I ever noticed a kick when slowing down or shifting I told him all the time and I had attempted to fix the 1 2 bang by replacing the speed sensor. He said that I was reading a code of Torque converter switched off and that was probably what fried my tranny. But that he wouldn't know until he got the transmission out tomorrow. Well What the hell does that mean and will that be fixed when he swaps the trannies out? He tried to explain it to me but he is a real southern guy and it is very hard to understand him on the phone. But can someone explain what T/C switched to off means and what needs to happen to fix it?

Well, the torque converter is analogous to a clutch in a manual transaxle. It facilitates changing gears. So if that's "switched off" you will have problems.
