Well this is a 9005 6000K HID kits from VVME. Not sure if I'm the first to have a problem with VVME and I dont want to be. Anyway, is there someting I'm missing? The only empty socket I plugged into the old light socket but nothing turns on. I even swithed them around and nothing. Any help?

Aren't there supposed to be some kind of cable connecting them to the battery? I'm getting fustrated.
I even had a dream last night that I got them to work. It was a good dream.

Here's someone who's installed them....maybe the pics will help.

If not PM him and perhaps he could give you more detailed instructions. I'm planning on getting some too so I hope its not a quality issue.

Actually, I printed those out when I installed them. I've tried twice now but to no avail. Its hard to imagine but I think that maybe both of the balasts might be bad or maybe both lights.

Mine aren't VVME but are built in...
Question..do you already have a set for your low beams?
9005's are Highs.
9006 are Lows.

No, just ordered a set for my highs as to avoid any popo trouble.
And yes, everything was plugged in right. Just to check I plugged it in the 'wrong' way and it still didn't work.

Here's what VVME wrote back:
Dear Customer
Thanks for choosing our product. We can resend or exchange your order to help resolve the problem. All of these are based on the policy which is listed on eBay.
All the kits are carefully tested before being shipped out. We need you to confirm with us which part is defective.
Check the Polarity. You may need to reverse the wires (Postive and Ground) to test it. Disable the Day Running Light, then swap ballasts/bulbs to find out which part is defective.
After confirming the part is truly defective, you have the following options, but option 3 is most recommended because you can save both time and money in this way:
1. Send the whole kit back to us, we will test it again. If it is defective we will exchange or refund it! If the problem comes from the product, we will cover all shipping fees. If there is no problem with the products, you need to pay the return shipping fee.
2. Send the defective part back to us. Once we receive the defective part, we will send you a new replacement part for free. You need to provide a tracking number for the part returned.
3. If you have found out which part is defective, just pay $25 to us, and we will send you a new part immediately. In this way you don't need to send the defective part back to us, and thus skip this part of the process.
Anyone have any last suggestions before I send it back and hope its just the parts that are defective, and not my car?

I thought they had a 14 month warranty? Why the hell do they expect you to pay another $25 if something is defective? That's the whole point of a warranty, if something's f'd up you don't have to pay. I'd return them for a refund and if you really want a set order another set later on and hope for the best.
