Each was made from a piece of solid Billet Aluminum by the racing legend Albert Mirko, with myself and NorCalCoug at his side.
These have both been polished to give them some extra gleam from when they were new, but have never been installed in a car. That's not to say they are in perfect condition though, because they have seen some wear over the past 5 years (in various boxes, etc). But they are beautiful pieces for any engine bay.
Here are some additional details:
MAF Adapter:
This MAF Adapter lines up perfectly to the contours of the MAF Sensor, unlike most cheap plastic MAF adapters that come with some other kits. It was engineered by Mirko to squeeze every last bit of optimization out of a sometimes neglected part. It has a groove on the back side that lets you install the screen that comes on the SVT Contour intakes (not included). note: the air inlet on this thing is MASSIVE, and you will likely need to get a bigger air filter if you already have a short air intake.
Battery Tie Down:
Designed to fit over the stock battery, and includes matching billet nuts that allow it to bolt to the OEM studs in a much more elegant way than from the factory. This was one of the first to be made when we talked him into making this part for us, and as such, the engraving of the Mirko logo on the top is a little light in a few spots.
I will not split these two beauties up, so the price shipped for both of them is $140 (to continental US). If paying by PayPal, the appropriate fees will also be added.
